Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort located in Marne-la-Vallée, 20 miles (32 km) east of the center of Paris. It is the most visited recreational site in Europe. It consists of:  2 theme parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park), 8 resort hotels, 7 associated hotels, a golf course, a high-speed rail station, a large outlet centre (la vallée village), and a large shopping mall: Val d’Europe.

Disneyland Paris not only has many rides but there are also shows, photos with the characters, parades and shops to discover. The ideal is to stay at least two days and divide the park into areas. If you sleep in the internal hotels the package already includes two entrances and the possibility to enter as early as 8:30 am for an extra time with few visitors.

Are there any differences between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park?

Disneyland Park was the first to be opened in 1992. It is suitable for families and especially for children. They will be able to meet their favourite Disney characters in an enchanted world that has the Sleeping Besauty Castle as its most famous symbol. Walt Disney Studios Park is the second thematic park and the smallest one. It is more suitable for teenagers and adults. The main theme is cinema and the attractions are scarier and more thrilling than those in the first park. It opened in the year of the 10th anniversary of the Disneyland Paris complex in 2002.

What is the best age to take children to Disneyland Paris?

The memory of the magical atmosphere of this tourist complex is what changes from child to child according to the age. Surely a child of about 8 years old will be able to remember this experience for longer and keep it among the favourite memories with the family.Instead a child of a few years even if he /she will  have enjoyed it a lot, in a short ti,e he/she will forget the experience. Our advice is to visit Disneyland Pèaris when the children are between 4 and 8 years old. At this age they know all the characters, they go crazy for the suggestive and imaginative environment, they can get on several rides and create a clearer memory of their trip to Disneyland Paris.

What is the Fastpass ticket?

The Fastpass is a special ticket that will allow you to skip the queues of the most visited attractions. All you have to do is introduce your admissions ticket in the Fastpass machine at the entrance of the ride you’re interested in and you will be given a return time. Return to the attraction at that time and you will be able to skip the line.
